For young people with a refugee background, starting out in Austria is not easy. Language and cultural differences are unsettling. Flight, war and family are daily companions. Many of our participants carry invisible burdens. This is where we provide professional support.

Support from volunteers in the association

We help with finding accommodation, arrange legal advice, help at school, hold discussions and much more. Resources are often scarce. Volunteers are always very welcome!

Professional support

Where there is a need for dialogue and more intensive support, the participants are supported by trainee psychotherapists. PlayTogetherNow has been a recognised internship centre for the propaedeutic course since autumn 2017. This is the first part of training to become a psychotherapist. This includes an internship in a social institution. The focus here is on relationship work. Interns are also given the opportunity to actively participate in the work of the organisation and become part of the PlayTogetherNow family in the longer term.
